This document is intended for anyone participating in the sub0 hackathon (Buenos Aires, 14-16 Nov 2025). It contains a brief overview of tips and what to expect to help individuals and teams prepare for the hackathon event of their lifetime.

Hacking starts: 11AM on Friday November 14th (GMT-3)
Submissions close: 12PM on Sunday November 16th (GMT-3)
Prizes: $50k ($16k Polkadot Main Track + $10k Arkiv Main Track + $34k bounties)

One project can win multiple prizes.
1. Talk to Users (Do This First) Find 5-10 people who have the problem you're solving. Interview them. This is 25% of your score.
2. Form A Diverse Team Get at least 3 people: Developer + Product Person + Marketer (Diverse teams = higher chance of scoring more across the criteria)
3. Pick Your Problem Narrow down your target user. 3-5 features max.
