1. Purpose
We're committed to a safe, inclusive, and collaborative environment for all participants, mentors, sponsors, speakers, staff, and volunteers. This Code applies to all official event channels and activities.
2. Scope
This policy covers:
- In-person interactions at the venue
- All official online channels and side-events recognized by the Organizer
3. Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment & Discrimination: Any offensive comments or jokes about gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, age, disability, appearance, or socioeconomic status.
- Demeaning Remarks & Exclusion: Slurs, derogatory nicknames, or deliberate ostracism of any individual or group.
- Physical Harassment: Non-consensual touching, stalking, intimidation, or unwanted attention.
- Digital Disruption: "Trolling," "flaming," spamming, or other disruptive behavior in chats, code repos, or social feeds.
4. Reporting & Consequences
- Immediate Compliance: If asked by staff to stop, you must comply immediately.
- How to Report: Contact any Organizer staff on-site or email [email protected]
- Consequences: Violations may result in removal from the event area and banning from future events—no appeals for severe offenses.
5. Venue Guidelines
- Alcohol: Drink in moderation during the main conference; staff may refuse service.
- Smoking: Only outside in designated areas.
